Title: Controls Programmer

Continual Energy Inc. deploys cutting-edge, specialized energy solutions for buildings. We are currently looking for a Junior/Intermediate Controls programmer to support our R&D and product operations by developing and programming award-winning HVAC equipment and energy savings solutions for our valued clients
Core Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Test Manager
- Participate in the coding, testing, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
- Developing and maintaining HMI software for field equipment.
- Support field installation, testing, and system commissioning
- Apply engineering principles, primarily focused on thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics/dynamics/compression, properties, controls, and power electronics.
- Hands-on troubleshooting with tools.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of interacting with clients and team members daily.
- Ability to take direction while working in a fast-paced team and collaborative environment, must be able to multitask and maintain organization.
- Very comfortable with Windows-based computer systems and computer networks.
- Knowledge of databases.
- Experience with sensors and control systems.
- Working knowledge of Source Code control usage.
Additional desired skills, but not required:
- Experience with Linux-based OS.
- Experience with NSIS
- C or C++ programming experience.
- Structured Text experience
Qualifications and Education Required:
- Electronic, Electrical, HVAC, or Mechanical/Electrical Technologist Diploma or similar.
- Mechanical or Electrical background preferred but not required
Compensation:
- Salary range $55,000 to $65,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications.
- Three (3) weeks of vacation.

Schedule:
- Typical work week is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

- Capable of passing an Ontario Contractor Security Screening Check (no criminal record).

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
