What you will do?
Perform preventative maintenance, repair of all Foundry equipment.
Diagnose problems whether it be electrical or mechanical.
Service Bobcats and forklifts and ensure the equipment is maintained and in good running order.
Ensure that all machinery is in good working order, able to repair plant moving equipment, belts, bearings, conveyors and take preventative measures to minimize plant downtime.
Perform daily & monthly inspections of all equipment.
Work in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, its Regulations and all other applicable legislation.
Be knowledgeable and practice safe work procedures
Use of company truck to pick up parts and supplies
What will you bring?
3 - 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright;
Must have excellent welding and fabrication skills;
Technical expertise with hydraulics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, augers, mixers, conveyors, shaft alignment, pulleys, belts and bearings and the ability to troubleshoot/diagnose failures of same.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Electrical knowledge an asset.
Overhead crane preventative maintenance of equipment.
Able to operate Forklifts and Bobcats and service the same.
