Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massages to clients, helping them relax and relieve muscle tension. Your role will involve assessing clients' needs, customizing massage treatments, and maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
Duties:
- Perform various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and/or prenatal massages.
- Assess clients' conditions and customize massage treatments to address their specific needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide recommendations for self-care
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Stay informed about current industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques
Requirements:
- Valid Massage Therapist license or certification
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
