Position
- Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
- Department: Quality / Manufacturing
- Reporting to: Corporate Quality Manager / Production Manager
Job Duties
- Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products according to company standards
- Use measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in quality management systems
- Identify and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements
- Support audits (internal and external) and maintain inspection equipment calibration
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow ABS established safety practices and regulations; report any unsafe conditions or practices to management
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications; excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Job requirements
- Diploma/certificate in mechanical engineering or related field
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- English Language Proficiency
