Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards
- Decorate cakes and pastries with creative designs, including cake decorating techniques
- Ensure all baked goods meet food safety and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks as needed within the kitchen
- Package baked items for sale or delivery while maintaining presentation quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, and food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
