Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality products efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environments and possess a strong attention to detail. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic production team in a fast-paced setting. We have available position in the Vaughan.
Duties
- Operate various types of industrial sewing machines to assemble and finish products according to specifications
- Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain and troubleshoot sewing equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets
- Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading fabric or other materials as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and improve processes
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred
- Familiarity with sewing machines and basic troubleshooting skills is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Prior experience with manufacturing processes is desirable but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: $17.60-$17.81 per hour
