A food preservative manufacturing company is currently seeking Forklift Operators / Warehouse Labourers for a 3–6 month contract assignment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Forklift Operators and Shipper/Receivers as needed
- Perform general warehouse labour, including repetitive heavy lifting
- Apply barcodes to pallets and remove plywood from pallet tops
- Build, move, and handle pallets containing 40–60 lb bags of product
Job Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive physical tasks
- Comfortable working at heights (including grated flooring areas)
- Valid forklift certification required
- Experience operating a tow motor and handling large/heavy pallets (up to 1 ton)
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear criminal background check required
- Must be available to start immediately
Schedule:
Continental 12-hour rotating shift schedule:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Rotation consists of three days on one rotation, followed by two days on the next rotation, and then two days on the final rotation.
Wage
$20.35/hour
