Speedy Transport Group Inc. founded in 1941 as a local, same-day parcel pick-up and delivery service, Speedy Transport (SZTG) has grown to be one of Canada's largest privately held carriers.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will work closely with our sales team to value new opportunities, while building relationships with existing customers, to fill available capacity within our growing network. They will coordinate with operations, provide excellent customer support and proactively solve problems to provide a high level of service with Load booking.
Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
Position Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities in partnership with sales or source your own
- Price and negotiate opportunities within market thresholds
- Coordinate every aspect of secured business, from pick-up through delivery, and the proper application of rates
- Continuous follow-up to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience with LoadLink
- Dispatching experience preferred
- Transportation industry experience
- Outstanding customer service
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Fluency in verbal/written English a must, additional languages a bonus
- Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel
- Comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Solutions oriented, able to solve problems quickly
