Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and prep stations
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service expectations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is a plus but not mandatory
