MCM Electrical Services Ltd. is hiring for two roles as we grow our industrial electrical contracting business: a licensed Journeyperson Electrician, and a Master Electrician. Please indicate which role you're applying for.

What the Job Entails
- PLC-based control systems — installation, troubleshooting, and minor programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms)
- Soft starter and VFD commissioning, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis
- Motor control and control wiring for industrial equipment (conveyors, pumps, crushers, feeders, and similar heavy equipment)
- Panel wiring, motor sizing, and protection per CEC requirements
- Diagnosing and resolving communication faults on industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP)
- Preventive and reactive maintenance on industrial electrical systems
- Reading and working from electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and P&IDs
- Working around SCADA/HMI systems and basic instrumentation (level, flow, and speed sensing)
- Site troubleshooting under time pressure, often on equipment that can't be down long
Journeyperson Electrician
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems on industrial sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate tools and test equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and site procedures
- Maintain documentation of work performed
Requirements:
- Valid 309A Certificate of Qualification (or equivalent), in good standing
- Experience in industrial or construction electrical work
- Comfortable working independently on site
Master Electrician
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to journeypersons and apprentices
- Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and applicable regulations
- Coordinate with the owner on scheduling and project planning
- Support the company's regulatory and licensing requirements as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Master Electrician license in Ontario, in good standing with ESA

Pay: $40.00-$52.00 per hour
