Looking for General Labourers
Shift Details:
Wednesday, September 23rd - 4:00PM-8:00PM
Thursday, September 24th - 4:00PM-8:00PM
Role/Position: General Labourer
We are looking for loaders/pushers to assist in unloading and loading two 5-ton trucks and get the equipment into and out of the rooms. It is all Audio Visual equipment that is not all in road cases like a tour. Some is and a lot is just in the cardboard boxes. It is a traveling tradeshow.
Requirements:
- Great communication skills;
- Can lift/carry/push/pull items of at least 50lbs
- Able to be on your feet for the entire shift
- Positive "can-do" attitude
Desired Experience
- Working on movie sets, film productions, concerts, or similar event environments
- Accustomed to physically demanding work and heavy lifting.
- General labour experience
Rate: CAD$24.00/hour
Attire: All black - comfortable clothing that still looks professional - no rips/ tear, stains, big logos or offensive messaging on any clothing. Runners or steeltoe boots work well - no PPE required. But gloves can be helpful.
