Overview
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Boat Captain to oversee vessel operations and ensure the safety of passengers and crew. The ideal candidate will possess strong navigation skills, customer service, and experience with fishing. Duties
- Conduct fishing charters on board center consoles and speed tours on board RHIBs.
- Operate boats safely and efficiently, adhering to all maritime laws and regulations
- Navigate waterways using charts, GPS, and other navigational tools
- Conduct routine inspections of the boat’s mechanical systems and perform basic troubleshooting or coordinate repairs
- Conduct safety briefings and fit customers with proper gear
- Ensure all safety and fishing equipment is functional and properly maintained
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with passengers and ensuring their safety and comfort during trips
- Maintain detailed logs of trips, maintenance activities, and safety checks
- Collaborate with crew members to coordinate daily operations and special events
Experience
- Small Vessel Operator Proficiency (SVOP) license
- VHF Radio License
- Marine Basic First Aid certificate
- Experience with conducting charters
- Proven experience operating boats in a professional capacity, with a strong understanding of maritime navigation and safety protocols

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
