Your future role on our team
This position is for recent university graduates from regular or co-op programs, but candidates with one or two years of experience working for a mining or consulting company are also encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills and be a team player.
If you join our team, your role will be to collaborate with members of multidisciplinary teams (engineers, technicians, drafters and other colleagues) on one or more projects. You will perform engineering-related tasks such as studies, preliminary and detailed engineering, commissioning and site secondment.

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- Undergraduate degree in mining or geological engineering from a recognized university
- Eligibility to register as a Professional Engineer in Canada
- One to two years of relevant experience in underground mining
- Experience with mine planning software such as Deswik, Datamine, MineSched, Vulcan or Minesight
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Asset: budgeting, estimating and scheduling experience with financial modelling skills
- Asset: experience in mine equipment selection
- Asset: capital cost and operating cost estimates
- Asset: underground mining and operations experience
Travel to domestic and occasionally international destinations is required (at least 30% of the time)
