ABOUT US: We are looking for engaging and service orientated individuals to join our team here at the Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Hotel. We are a 285 room property with restaurant, pub, and lounge. We boast a large swimming pool complete with water slides as well as event and meeting space. Our goal is to consistently go above and beyond for our staff, our community, and our guests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to communicate effectively in English; verbal and written.
- Good customer service and problem resolution skills.
- Well organized with have good cash handling skills.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Word & Excel.
- Punctual and reliable, and able to work cooperatively with other associates.
- Experience working with Lightspeed PMS will be considered an asset.
- Fluency in a second language will be considered an asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reconcile and complete all daily front desk agents’ work.
- Run find trial balance to post rooms and close day.
- Provide next day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive Office as required.
- Perform duties of front desk agent as assigned; registering guests, etc.
- Handle guest concerns in a polite and professional manner.
- Answer calls incoming to hotel and hotel guests.
- Process guaranteed no-shows
- Perform all duties in a safe manner according to established safe work practices.
Shifts are from 11pm - 7am, including weekends and holidays
