Role Overview
The Process Technician supports the development, optimization, and control of manufacturing processes and associated documentation (SOPs, DOEs, protocols, etc.). This role bridges process improvement, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, quality, and operational consistency.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in developing, reviewing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and quality
· Support execution of IOPQ activities and process validations.
· Drive OEE improvements initiatives through data analysis and coordination
· Support CI initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and other improvement tools.
· Ensure all processes adhere to GMP and regulatory standards
· Write, review and maintain SOPs for all manufacturing processes
· Support execution and documentation of DOEs, trials, and process validations
· Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective actions for process deviations
· Collaborate with Production, QA and Engineering teams to align processes and documentation
· Provide guidance and support on documentation best practices.
· Train production staff on new processes, equipment, and SOPs and CI practices.
· Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience
· 3+ years of manufacturing experience (Nutraceutical, Cannabis, or Food/Beverage preferred)
· Diploma or degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Life Sciences or similar preferred)
· High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
· Required familiarity with SOPs, DOEs, IOPQ, OEE tracking and improvement, Lean manufacturing, CI frameworks, and process improvement and protocols
· Working knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance requirements
· Proficient computer skills in MS Office preferred or other related word processing or spreadsheet programs
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills
· Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration ability
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
