Enterprise Identity Analyst
Contract Length: 8 Months
- Location: Calgary, Alberta (preference for Alberta-based candidates but open to anywhere in Canada)
Raise is currently hiring an Enterprise Identity Analyst on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a market leading financial institution
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Enterprise Identity Analyst, in this role will need to be a strong team player with a knack for solving complex problems and translating technical information into action items. You’ll be accountable for assessing current Identity and Access processes and working with the team to implement IAM best practices. You will quickly become an expert in existing access workflows and work in partnership with the larger Enterprise Identity & Application Security team to develop new ones.
In this role, you will focus heavily on access request fulfillment, process optimization, and platform administration across key identity management systems to ensure secure, seamless workforce access.
Responsibilities
- Access Request Fulfillment: Efficiently manage, review, and fulfill day-to-day workforce identity and access requests in alignment with established service level agreements (SLAs).

Platform Administration: Provide hands-on administration, maintenance, and support for primary identity platforms, specifically Okta and Active Directory.

Process Improvement: Evaluate current access management workflows, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with the project team to design and implement optimized IAM processes and best practices.

Automation & Scripting: Utilize scripting to automate routine identity governance tasks, manage bulk user updates, and streamline provisioning/deprovisioning workflows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison for the Workforce Identity Advancement project, partnering with various technical and business teams across to gather requirements and resolve complex access issues.

Documentation: Create and maintain clear, accurate documentation for identity processes, system configurations, and operational workflows.
Qualifications

5 years of experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations with Proven, practical experience in the administration and configuration of Okta and Active Directory in an enterprise environment.

Strong proficiency with PowerShell for automation, task optimization, and data manipulation within identity directories.

Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, including least privilege, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Lifecycle Management (Joiner, Mover, Leaver).

Exceptional organization and task prioritization skills, with a demonstrated ability to balance daily operational ticketing alongside project-based deliverables.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of successfully collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical enterprise experience).

Preferred Certifications:

Okta Certified Professional or Okta Certified Administrator

Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) or equivalent legacy Active Directory certifications

CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or generic cloud/security frameworks are considered a strong asset.
