Duties
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments efficiently using Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety guidelines to ensure quality and consistency
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and food delivery
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and maintaining inventory levels
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems like Micros POS or similar technology for order processing
- Strong understanding of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Kitchen experience including food preparation and serving techniques is desirable
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
