Job Vacancy: Area Manager – Cleaning Operations
We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to join our cleaning team and oversee multiple client sites across:
Newcastle, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Kingston upon Hull, Exeter,
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: £1,100 gross per month
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Full-time position
- Combination of night-time and morning shifts
- Company car provided

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise cleaning teams across multiple client sites.
- Carry out regular site visits during night cleaning operations.
- Ensure industrial cleaning standards are maintained, including heavy kitchen cleaning.
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to cleaning teams.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching where required.
- Carry out inspections, audits, and quality checks.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed to client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and head office.
- Identify training needs and support team development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety procedures, and cleaning standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or management role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning and heavy kitchen cleaning.
- Experience managing cleaning teams across multiple locations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts and early morning shifts.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using digital reporting systems and Google Workspace is preferred.
