We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable AP Calculus and AP Physics C teacher/tutor to provide high-quality instruction to high school students.
Responsibilities
- Teach AP Calculus AB/BC and/or AP Physics C: Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism
- Help students build a strong understanding of key concepts and problem-solving skills
- Prepare students for AP exams, including practice tests and exam strategies
- Identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement
- Provide clear explanations and engaging, structured lessons
- Track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Qualifications
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience with AP Calculus and/or AP Physics C
- Strong knowledge of the current AP curriculum and exam format
- Experience preparing students for AP exams is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Ability to explain challenging mathematical and physics concepts clearly
- A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Education, or a related field is preferred
