We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, assembling, repairing, and finishing custom cabinetry and wood products while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and laminate materials.
- Build and install custom cabinets, furniture, and millwork.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Sand, stain, paint, and apply finishes to completed products.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Repair or modify existing cabinets and wood fixtures as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker, Carpenter, or in a related woodworking role required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience using woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
