Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dealership or automotive repair environment, possess strong mechanical knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This role involves performing tire repairs, replacements, and related maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, using hand and power tools, and providing exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic automotive setting.
Responsibilities
- Remove and replace tires using appropriate hand tools and power tools
- Perform tire repairs, rotations, balancing, and alignment assistance as needed
- Conduct vehicle inspections related to tire condition and overall maintenance needs
- Assist customers with tire selections and provide recommendations based on their vehicle requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during tire servicing procedures
- Support other automotive repair tasks as required, including basic mechanical work and maintenance
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to tires, wheels, and basic vehicle systems
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory depending on job requirements
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
