Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow proper serving procedures to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
