Sweet-o-one is looking for a full-time Cake Production Assistant to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for someone with bakery, pastry, or cake decorating experience who enjoys working in a production environment and takes pride in creating consistently beautiful products.
This is a production-focused position involving both cake assembly and decorating.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, fill, finish, and decorate cakes according to company standards
- Work as part of a production team to complete daily cake orders
- Independently assemble and decorate cakes from start to finish
- Decorate and finish a small selection of pastries and desserts as needed
- Follow recipes, procedures, and production schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Assist with other pastry production tasks when required
Requirements:
- Previous bakery, pastry, or cake decorating experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
