Utilize active learning strategies across various class formats, including online, hybrid, flexible, and in-person, to enhance student engagement and understanding.

Harness educational technology to create dynamic and interactive learning experiences that enrich student learning and retention.

Provide academic counseling and tutoring support as needed, offering personalized assistance to help students overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.

Course and Curriculum Development:

Academic Leadership:

Minimum completed Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Juris Doctor (JD), or an undergraduate degree in a related field required

Minimum requirement of being a licensed Paralegal.

Must be a member of the Law Society of Ontario.

Ability to teach across Paralegal, Law Clerk, and Justice Administration programs.

Minimum (2-3) years teaching experience in a post-secondary setting.

Demonstrated ability to effectively teach and engage learners in in-person, online, flexible and hybrid delivery environments.

Ability to foster industry partnerships and support experiential learning opportunities for students.

Demonstrated exceptional presentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills is required and demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an academic team.

Strong relationships with industry contacts and network connections are an asset.

Commitment to a team approach for problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Note: A teaching demonstration will be required during the recruitment process.
