We are seeking an Applications Engineer based out of our Vaughan, Ontario office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quotes and identify and recommend products or services
- Provide technical support to customers by troubleshooting issues as they arise and performing repairs on customer equipment as needed
- Occasionally visit major customers to present products and perform demos
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in applied science or engineering, preferably in mechanical, electrical, related field
· Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in the field of metrology and a high-level knowledge of instrumentation, pressure, and sensors
· Must have a proven track record of relationship building
· Must have full professional proficiency in English, French an asset
- Proficient in MS office
- Hands-on approach in the day-to- day interaction with our customers on the phone, e-mail, TEAMS and visits
- Ability to work independently and exhibit exceptional organizational skills (i.e., manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, set goals)
- Must be Self-motivated and exhibit hands-on approach in the day-to-day interaction with our customers and Principals
- Able to analyze complex technical issues and provide solutions to our customers
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings, BOMs, schematics, electrical layouts, manuals, and datasheets
- Proficiency in engineering 2D design tools such as DraftSight is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
