We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer focused individuals to join our Saskatoon team as Budtenders.
Position Summary
As a Budtender, you'll be the face of Miyo Askiy Cannabis Co. Your role is to educate customers, provide personalized product recommendations, maintain a clean and organized store, and ensure every customer leaves with an outstanding experience.
We're looking for people who are passionate about customer service, enjoy learning, and thrive in a fast paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer in a friendly and professional manner.
- Build genuine relationships with customers.
- Learn customers' preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
- Educate customers on cannabis products, CBD, etc
- Answer product questions confidently and accurately.
- Create an inclusive, judgment free shopping environment.
Product Knowledge
- Develop extensive knowledge of:
- Dried flower
- Pre rolls
- Vaporizers
- Concentrates
- Edibles
- Beverages
- Oils and capsules
- Topicals
- Accessories
- Stay up to date on new product launches and industry trends.
- Participate in ongoing product training.
Store Operations
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Verify customer identification and successfully add them as a member
- Receive inventory shipments.
- Restock shelves and maintain merchandising standards.
- Complete inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Comfortable learning new technology and POS systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to work.
Preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience.
- Cannabis retail experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of cannabis products is an asset but not required.
- Experience handling cash and processing payments.
