We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Desk professional specializing in Custom Brokerage and Logistics to join a Mississauga organization. This role is essential in managing order processing, coordinating shipments, and ensuring seamless communication across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of warehouse distribution, transportation management systems, and procurement processes, contributing to efficient supply chain operations and customer satisfaction.
NOTE:
Starting out approx 3 days/week 7.5-8 hours per day with potential OT October- November
Position will lead to full time hours with eligibility for benefits.
Duties:
- Respond to client inquiries in an appropriate manner
- Take orders
- Answer any general questions
- Provide quotes to clients regarding services
- Customs
- Shipping
- General Warehousing and material handling
- Manifest all pre orders
- Coordinate with 3rd party carrier/warehouse ) for all confirmed orders
- Make sure there is payment for all orders
- Process any billable orders
Requirements:
- 3 years minimum related experience
- Intermediate to advance MS Office Skills
- Logistics
- Custom Brokerage knowledge
- Order Entry experience
