*This particular position is on call casual only with opportunity to do snow removal work in the winter. No guaranteed hours at this time.*
What you will be doing:
- Move and transport product and equipment
- Load and secure equipment to trailers
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Load trucks using heavy equipment
- Haul snow and salt during the winter season
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
What we need from you:
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous experience hauling a gravel truck and pup
- Ability to operate a skid steer, excavator, and loader safely and at an advanced level
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with a clear driving record
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Proven decision-making skills
- Ability to use a smart-phone or tablet for communication and reporting
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
