Extrusion Operator – Flexible Packaging

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator to operate and maintain blown film extrusion lines. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who understands resin handling, process control, and film quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor blown film extrusion lines to meet production targets.
- Adjust temperatures, air pressure, nip speeds, and take-up rolls for optimal film quality.
- Perform resin changes, die cleaning, and line startups/shutdowns.
- Measure and record film properties such as gauge, clarity, OTR, and COF.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain accurate production records and adhere to all safety and quality protocols.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating blown film extrusion equipment (monolayer or co-ex).
- Strong understanding of resins (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, nylon, EVOH, etc.) and film properties.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and correct process variations.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Availability for rotating or fixed shifts as required.
