Chisholm Industries is currently accepting resumes for Journeyperson Plumbers to join our construction projects division as it continues to grow to meet the needs of our customers.

The Job:
The Journeyperson plumber will perform work on a variety of plumbing systems under the direction of the construction project supervisor. Working as part of the construction projects team, you will perform tasks including the installation, repair and maintenance of pipes, valves, fittings and drainage systems on commercial projects. This role will work on various sites and projects from new build construction to the major retrofitting of existing structures.
Your Work will include:
· Working safely and demonstrating strong situational awareness to prevent injuries to self and co-workers while on job sites and works to achieve the goal of ZERO workplace incidents. Always follows OHS and site-specific safety rules and regulations.
· Installation of all aspects of commercial plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and industrial applications.
· Providing guidance, leadership and mentoring for apprentices working on site.
· Reading and following complex diagrams, building plans and blueprints to complete the require project work.
· Maintaining and staying organized on the work site at times.
· Keeping accurate records of work performed and materials used.

· At least 1 year experience working as a journeyperson plumber in a commercial / industrial project setting.
· The ability to work independently and as part of a larger team to complete larger and more complex projects while on site.
· Excellent attention to detail when performing work and a focus on meeting the quality expectations of our customers.
· Physically fit and able to safely handle tools and equipment used on the job site.

Our team also enjoys great pay and generous benefits. The compensation range for a journeyperson plumber is between $42.00 and $47.00 per hour. The starting rate will be based on the successful candidate’s particular combination of skills, education and experience.
