Currently, we are looking for a part-time, experienced Class 4 Driver (at minimum) to operate a worker shuttle van.
Job Details:
Tentative Schedule (subject to change): Trips currently scheduled on a bi-weekly basis (every second Wednesday/Thursday) approximately 10 hours/shift based on road conditions, Driver will be responsible for transporting a crew from Saskatoon to Nex Gen Rook 1 Uranium Mine.
Last minute trips may occur outside of the scheduled bi-weekly trip.
Vehicle Description: 15 passenger Ford Van
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shuttle work crew ‘safely’ to and from job site
- Complete Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection
- Complete Daily vehicle log
- Conduct Daily Vehicle Safety Inspections and report any issues or concerns
- Comply with company and government regulations and rules
- Communicating with dispatchers and coordinators
- Performing emergency repairs like patching tires when needed
- Must be computer literate
- Must have cell phone
- Good people skills
- Proficient in speaking and writing in English
- Strong problem-solving skills
MUST HAVE:
- Valid Class 4 driver's license at minimum
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Minimum of 3+ years driving experience in Canada
- Minimum 3 years driving commercial vehicles
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 12.0 per week
