Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: Efficiently pick, pack, and dispatch products according to customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Inventory Control: Assist with inventory management, including checking stock levels, conducting stock takes, and ensuring accurate stock records.
- Shipping and Receiving: Receive and verify incoming shipments, checking products for quality and quantity against orders. Prepare products for outbound shipments in compliance with company standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and well-organized, including labeling products and maintaining appropriate storage.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including operating warehouse equipment safely and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move goods around the warehouse.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to orders, stock discrepancies, or damaged goods, escalating when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside warehouse and logistics teams to meet operational targets and deadlines.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous Warehouse Experience: Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items and perform physical tasks for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when picking, packing, and checking stock.
- Basic IT Skills: Proficient in using warehouse management software or handheld scanning devices to process orders and track inventory.
- Forklift Certification: (Preferred not required) Ability to operate forklifts or pallet trucks. Certification is an advantage.
- Team Player: Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues in the warehouse and find effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication with team members and supervisors.
- Health & Safety Awareness: Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
