Position Summary
The Project Manager / Office Personnel role is responsible for coordinating construction projects from tender through completion while providing administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Coordinate and oversee concrete forming projects from start to finish.
- Prepare and track project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff.
- Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
- Assist with tender preparation, bid submissions, and project estimates.
- Monitor project costs and assist with budget control.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and company standards.
- Attend project meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
Office Administration
- Maintain project files, records, and document control systems.
- Review invoices and subcontractor time sheets
- Assist with payroll submissions and employee records.
- Coordinate equipment and material deliveries.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide customer service support.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required.
- Support management with various administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction project management and construction administration
- Experience in concrete forming or general contracting is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

- Construction scheduling experience.
- Knowledge of contract administration and change management.
- Familiarity with project management software is an asset.
