Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s individual learning needs and goals
- Assist students with homework, exam preparation, and understanding core subject material
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student requirements
- Foster a supportive and motivating environment that encourages active participation and confidence-building
- Communicate progress effectively with students, parents, and guardians to ensure ongoing support
- Track student performance and adapt teaching strategies to maximize learning outcomes
- Maintain professionalism by arriving prepared, punctual, and committed to student success
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across various subjects is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and motivate learners
- Experience working with children or youth in educational settings or classrooms is preferred
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs
- Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
- Reliable transportation to serve students across Calgary and surrounding communities
- Preference to candidates with a teacher certificate or education students. University graduates and upper year university students will also be considered.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
