Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring all dishes are prepared accurately and efficiently
- Cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including equipment and utensils
- Support the team in serving food quickly and courteously during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone
- Contribute to inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management when stock needs replenishing
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency in meal quality
