Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Chef / Sous Chef to join our clients dynamic culinary team in the Grand Valley area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food preparation and cooking expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This is a 6 week contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Recreate recipes consistently after training
- Complete daily food preparation and ensure ingredients are ready for service
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen organization
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Support the kitchen team and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Adaptable, dependable, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and integrity
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team

Work Schedule: Sun, Mon, Wed 2:00- 10:30pm. and Thurs, Fri, Sat 3:00-11:30pm.
Payrate: $22/hr.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
