Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support data entry and employee record management.
This is an entry-level position focused on accuracy, consistency, and organization. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable with routine tasks, and able to maintain a high level of precision when handling information.
Training will be provided. This role is well suited for someone looking to build experience in an administrative or office environment.
Job Description
- Perform data entry and update employee information in internal systems.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital employee files.
- Prepare basic documentation (e.g., letters, forms, updates).
- Review documents carefully to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Track and update employee status changes and key dates.
- Assist with onboarding documentation and file setup.
- Identify and flag missing or incorrect information.
- Support general administrative tasks as required.
Training & Experience
- Must have Grade XII or equivalent.
- No prior experience required (administrative experience is an asset).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and consistent in completing tasks.
- Comfortable working with computers and basic software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Willingness to learn internal systems (training provided).
- Organized and able to follow structured processes.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
