D&M Auto Recycling is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Inventory Management Specialist. This role is crucial to maintaining an accurate and efficient inventory system, ensuring that every part—big or small—is properly identified, tagged, and stored for resale.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Handling: Tag, label, and store inventory items, ranging from small components to heavy door panels and body parts.
- Part Identification: Accurately identify and catalog parts to ensure smooth processing and resale—automotive experience is a strong asset.
- Data Management: Maintain detailed and accurate records by updating item notes, conditions, and locations in our inventory system.
- Photography & Documentation: Take clear and professional photos of all inventory items for online listings and internal tracking.
- Quality & Organization: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall efficiency of the inventory department.
- Order Fulfillment: Pull parts for customer orders, ensuring quality and accuracy before shipment.
- Self-Driven Work Ethic: Take initiative in daily tasks without need of constant supervision.
- Heavy Lifting & Physical Work: This role requires the ability to lift and move heavy automotive parts as needed.
Ideal Candidate
- Automotive knowledge is a strong asset—part identification is key to a successful inventory system.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to organization.
- Good computer skills—comfortable learning and using inventory software.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Physically capable of lifting and handling heavy auto parts as needed.

- Confidence and experience using a forklift.
