Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining project timelines and quality standards. This role offers an opportunity to lead construction teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure project success through effective supervision and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and address any on-site issues promptly.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
- Utilize construction management software such as Primavera P6 for scheduling, tracking progress, and resource allocation.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to safety standards and quality benchmarks.
- Manage on-site budgets, monitor costs, and assist with construction estimating as needed.
- Oversee the use of construction software tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce safety protocols among all personnel on site.
- Lead and supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support to meet project deadlines.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with the production team for delivery schedules and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations in a construction environment.
- Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before installation.
- Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and basic construction estimating techniques.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Report project progress and any delays to management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in managing project timelines and deliverables.
