Based out of Cambridge, ON, Jamesway Chick Master Incubator Inc. is looking for Heavy Assemblers for a 12-week contract on our Day shift (6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday) and Afternoon shift (3:15 PM to 1:45 AM, Monday to Thursday).
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in a unionized, make to order manufacturing plant. You will have the opportunity to build, prepare and pack incubation racks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working inside a manufacturing industry (preferred).
- Mechanical Aptitude - Able to perform basic mechanical duties.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and using hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment.
- Able to lift up to 50 Lbs.
- Excellent time management skills to meet production targets & deadlines.
- Knowledgeable of Health & Safety regulations & promoting a safe work culture.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent attendance record.
Note: *1.50 shift premium applies for AFTERNOON shift.
