We’re offering a unique opportunity for a driven and mechanically inclined individual to start a rewarding career in locksmithing. As a Locksmith Apprentice, you’ll get hands-on experience while we sponsor you through a comprehensive 3-year training program. If you enjoy working with tools, solving practical problems, and want to develop a lifelong trade, this could be the perfect fit.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a locksmith apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced locksmiths and technicians, learning the ins and outs of the trade. Duties will evolve over time, but in this role you can expect to:
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of locks, door hardware, and security systems
- Learn to rekey and cut keys, troubleshoot lock issues, and install both mechanical and electronic access control systems
- Perform on-site service calls and support more senior techs with customer jobs
- Work on a variety of projects, from residential lockouts to large commercial hardware installations
- Use and maintain a wide range of hand and power tools with proper safety protocols
- Gain exposure to reading blueprints, interpreting hardware schedules, and working through job specs on active sites
- Potential to specialize in areas such as High-security locks, Access control, Safe, Installation, and/ or automatic door systems

- Basic tool knowledge and comfort using hand and power tools

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Bonus Experience (Not Required):
- Background in construction, carpentry, maintenance, or electrical
- Knowledge of door hardware, locks, or access control
- Mechanical aptitude or technical troubleshooting experience
