The Recruitment Coordinator (Temporary, Part-Time – 20-Month Contract) is responsible for providing administration and support to the recruitment team. This position will also support the Director, Human Resources to develop company communication and assist with administrative duties supporting the HR team, if required.
Recruitment Support
- Administer staffing requisitions and approvals for all open positions.
- Post job postings through UKG & external job boards.
- Book career fairs and career events.
- Ensure appropriate promotional materials are available for career/recruitment events
- Liaise with the Marketing team regarding new promotional materials
- Manage the recruitment events calendar.
- Create and edit job postings for approval.
- Support the talent acquisition team with resume reviews and pre-screens.
- Record reference checks for successful applicants.
- Ensure completion of new employee Files
- Assist with Candidate Security Clearance requirements.
- Manage documents in Applicant Tracking System.
- Prepare Internal letters of offer
- Manage and administer various databases (dashboard, IT support).
- Assist Talent Acquisition team with monthly analytics including internal metrics and job posting metrics.
- Manage the Recruitment Inbox
- Attend occasional career fairs as needed
HRIS – Applicant Tracking System
- SME for talent acquisition module of HRIS (UKG).
- Administer staffing requisitions and approvals for all open positions.
- Post job postings to Voyageur career site (HRIS) and external.
- Post all positions internally and track applicants, as applicable, ensuring compliance with Collective Agreements
- Manage documents in Applicant Tracking System.
- Prepare letters of offer and send new hire packages.
Administration
- Generate reports, compile data, and conduct research.
- Prepare and manage process documents.
- Coordinate initiatives, events, and special projects.
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
- Post-secondary diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn new systems and platforms.
- Experience creating and editing professional business correspondence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Resourceful, proactive, and able to exercise sound judgment when resolving issues.
- Knowledge of employment legislation is considered an asset.
- Ability to attend occasional career fairs, networking events, and recruitment activities as required.

You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.

- Hours of work are a part-time 16-24-hour work week, Monday to Friday
- We offer competitive compensation, pension contributions, and benefits
- 20-month contract with an anticipated end date of March 2028
- This position starts at $25.00/hour, with compensation commensurate with experience
