General Sign Maker (Finishing & Vinyl Application)Job Summary
Behrends Bronze is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented General Sign Maker to join our production team. This position is responsible for the finishing and assembly of high-quality architectural and commercial signage, including vinyl application, sign assembly, packaging, and final quality inspection.
Responsibilities
- Apply vinyl graphics to signs, panels, windows, and dimensional lettering.
- Assemble sign components using various hardware and adhesives.
- Install acrylic faces, LED components, and other sign materials where required.
- Finish and prepare signs for shipping or installation.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
- Operate production equipment including laminators, vinyl cutters, and basic shop tools.
- Read work orders and production drawings.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with other production duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sign manufacturing, vinyl application, graphic installation, or production work is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
