Overview
We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician with experience and HVAC Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in construction or appliance repair, and a willingness to learn and grow within the HVAC industry. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, servicing, and repair of HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to support system troubleshooting and repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units to ensure optimal performance
- Support plumbing, welding, and mechanical tasks related to HVAC system installation and repair
- Assist with boiler operations and repairs as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during various tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and building codes during work activities
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, welding, or appliance repair preferred
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, or technical diagrams is a plus
- Construction or mechanic experience is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills related to HVAC systems and maintenance
- Prior experience with boilers or HVAC systems is beneficial but not required
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
