Electrical Estimator / Project Manager

Our client, a leading industrial contractor, is growing and looking for an Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to join their team. They provide electrical, millwright, pipefitting, fabrication, and industrial maintenance services to customers across manufacturing, automotive, food & beverage, material handling, and other industrial sectors.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong industrial electrical background who enjoys both estimating and managing projects from quote through completion.
What You'll Do
- Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and proposals for industrial electrical projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, site conditions, and customer requirements.
- Source pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage projects from award to completion, including scheduling labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with operations, dispatch, field electricians, and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Monitor project costs, labour, progress, and change orders.
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication and follow-up.
- Conduct site visits, customer meetings, and project walkthroughs as required.
- Ensure work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical work.
- Electrical trade background preferred; 309A licence is a strong asset.
- Experience in estimating, project management, project coordination, foreman, or service roles within an industrial electrical environment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and electrical scopes of work.
- Knowledge of labour planning, material take-offs, job costing, and change orders.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating/project management software.
- Valid driver's licence.

Experience:
- Electrical Estimating : 4 years (preferred)
- Project Management: 3 years (preferred)
- Understanding labour planning and job costing: 3 years (preferred)
- Industrial Electrical work: 3 years (preferred)
