Reporting to: CNC Programming Supervisor
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and process 3D CAD details and design blueprints.

Create instructions/set-ups for machinists.

Translate instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.

Verify completed programs by running simulations.

Analyze and select optimal tooling, speeds, and feeds.

Optimize and improve processes continuously.

Comply with all safety rules and regulations.

Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant experience related to checking fixture and automation details.

Previous experience operating 3/5-axis CNC machines as a machinist.

CAD/CAM experience – SolidWorks, PowerMill, and PowerShape an asset.

FCS and other standardized work fixturing knowledge an asset.

Excellent reading comprehension skills.

Problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mechanically inclined.

Ability to read blueprints and comprehend GD&T.
Education:
- Minimum High School diploma.

Technical School Graduate or equivalent experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Afternoons: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
