We are currently recruiting for a Monday to Friday Live In caregiver for a private male employer with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2 to assist with all activities of daily living.
The ideal candidate will be caring, attentive and can take direction well.
Location:
Start date: Beginning of December 2026
Shifts & Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday
- Start time is Monday at 7am
- End time is Friday at 7am
Compensation:
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Personal care such as showering, dressing assistance, toileting assistance, and repositioning
- Tube feeding and bi-pap support (putting on the mask, turning on, ect)
- Hoyer lift transfers
- Meal preparation and eating assistance
- Medication administration
- Light housekeeping duties: taking out garbage, laundry, dusting and cleaning
- Overnight:
- Live in Caregiver will have a private bedroom in the apartment
- Shared bathroom and kitchen
- Interventions approximately 2 to 4 times per night for Bi-pap and repositioning
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Caregiving experience
- Caring and attentive
- Ability to take direction from the employer
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (Minimum 2 doses)
