Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver (AR license) to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes in Southern Ontario, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties
- Safely operate trucks to transport goods between locations according to scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to proper handling procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation of shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation
- Assist with vehicle maintenance or minor repairs as needed to ensure optimal operation
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (AR ) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in driving trucks or commercial vehicles pulling trailers
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations governing commercial transportation
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Physical stamina for long hours on the road and handling heavy loads
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in various weather conditions
