Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Line Cook and Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring our standards of food quality and safety.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients through proper food handling and meal preparation techniques
- Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including doing dishes
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are met
- Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and quality standard
Qualifications
- Food handlers certificate
- Previous food industry or restaurant experience preferred, especially in cooking or food preparation roles
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
