We are seeking a skilled and experienced 310T Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy trucks, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during repair procedures
- Work with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery for maintenance or repair tasks
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed using welding equipment
- Follow safety protocols related to heavy lifting, industrial equipment operation, and workplace safety standards
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed
- Assist with assembly or installation of new equipment or parts when required
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and professionally
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy trucks or similar industrial vehicles
- Dealership experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit, Paccar Engines, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and schematics is preferred
- Hands-on experience with welding, power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Knowledge of automotive repair principles combined with industrial equipment maintenance skills
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklift or cranes is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with the ability to perform complex diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs
- Able to maintain a clean work environment and good work order record keeping during projects.

Pay: $27.00-$37.00 per hour
